If you’re anything like me, your ideal wedding is anywhere but in the usual chapel in your hometown. Your wedding should be about you and a celebration of your love. The best way to get away from the pressures of wedding society is to choose from the best destination wedding packages.
With so many destination wedding packages out there, it is easy to find one perfect to represent you and your significant other’s love and devotion. There’s something for everyone nowadays. The problem is there are so many to sift through that it can take hours to find the right one for you.
Best Destination Wedding Packages
In this list of the best destination wedding packages, you’ll be able to find the perfect package for you. Whether you want something on a budget, family-friendly, or as unique as you are, there is something for everyone.
Sandals Free and Customizable Weddings
One of the biggest perks of having your destination wedding at Sandals Resorts is that it is completely free if your stay three or more nights. They also have customizable weddings at a cost, but they are also extremely budget-friendly, costing around $1,500. It’s not like Sandals skimps on these free weddings, either.
Sandals free weddings include a wedding planning team, a customizable wedding website, a bouquet and boutonniere, a free photo, a wedding cake, decor, and more. You will also get special honeymoon perks, like romantic turndown service and breakfast in bed.
Your free wedding comes with even more perks if you stay seven-plus days or invite more people to your wedding. If you stay a week or more, you can get up to $1,500 in credits toward premium perks, such as room upgrades, license fees, photography, and videography. The more rooms you book (five or more), the more perks you get as well.
Sandos Wedding Packages
Sandos weddings remind me of those Instagrammable art installations your find in Tulum. Every setting they have is uniquely beautiful, with amazing views, charming settings, and modern decor. You will definitely feel like you are in a dream that could only come true at your destination wedding.
There are four different all-inclusive resorts in Mexico that you can choose from for your destination wedding, including Sandos Cancun, Sandos Playacar, Sandos Caracol, and Sandos Finisterra. Each location has a few different venues to choose from, like the beach, a cenote, or a penthouse. Personally, my favorite is all the venues at Sandos Caracol.
Sandos’s most inclusive wedding package is their Seaside Bliss package. This comes with the ceremony and reception set up, flowers, sound systems, dinner reception, a room upgrade for the couple, and more. There are also the Sweet Romance and Dreamcatcher packages that are more budget-friendly. Each package has honeymoon amenities to take your stay to the next level.
Dreams Resorts Perfect Packages
If you’re looking for a destination wedding for the whole family that is off the beaten path, Dreams Resorts has you covered. This is a family-friendly all-inclusive resort that has locations worldwide. You can choose to have your destination wedding in the Canary Islands, Costa Rica, Colombia, or anywhere else your would like.
Most of Dreams’ resorts have a customizable wedding option that your wedding coordinator takes care of completely. Their most popular Dreams Ultimate Wedding Package comes with a rehearsal dinner, a free room the night of the wedding, videography, a wedding cake, photography, breakfast in bed, and much more. You can also choose between the Dreams of Love package or the Wedding in Paradise package, which are a bit less costly.
The venues are also to die for at Dreams Resorts. You can choose between a beach, rooftop, gazebo, or garden venue, and each comes with rustic or glamorous decor that is beyond unique.
Iberostar Weddings
I don’t know about you, but I have never been one to do anything run-of-the-mill, and my wedding will most likely be the same. Destination weddings at Iberostar hotels are some of the most original, with everything being customizable. Their main goal is to ensure your wedding is as unique as you are.
Everything is planned by a wedding coordinator that will set up everything for you, from personalized experiences to wedding decor. You can gain inspiration for your wedding from a lookbook, but every detail is ultimately up to you. You can choose things as detailed as your centerpieces, your ceremony backdrop, your cake decor, and anything else you can think of.
One of the things that I especially like about destination weddings at Iberostar is that they do it all sustainably. From responsible food choices to natural venue settings, everything is planned with sustainability at the forefront. That includes all of the activities you want to do during your stay.
Hard Rock Hotels All-Inclusive Weddings
Hard Rock Hotels believes celebrating your love should be filled with passion and excitement, just like music. In other words, the Hard Rock Hotels All-Inculisve Weddings will give you a party you’ll always remember. If you want to start your marriage with a bang, Hard Rock Hotels is the destination wedding venue for you.
Hard Rock Hotels are located all over the place, but the five all-inclusive Hard Rocks are located in Mexico and Dominican Republic. They have wedding packages at their other locations, but what’s a destination wedding if it’s not all-inclusive? The five locations are Cancun, Cabo San Lucas, Riviera Maya, Puerto Vallarta, and Punta Cana.
Hard Rocks’ all-inclusive wedding packages work a little bit differently than other wedding packages. Instead of having set up packages that you pay for, the package is free and changes depending on how many rooms you book. For example, for 10-19 rooms booked for three nights, you get a two-hour reception, one room upgrade, and one free night for the couple. Everything else that you typically see in a destination wedding package is included as well.
Palace Resorts Weddings
Palace Resorts celebrates anyone and everyone with their wedding packages. Whether you are looking for a Catholic ceremony, South Asian ceremony, Mayan wedding, or interfaith wedding, Palace Resorts can accommodate you. Everything is perfectly catered to your needs and beliefs, from the setup to the officiant.
Most wedding packages let you choose what type of decor you want, but it all comes complete without much variation. The thing that I love about Palace Resorts weddings is that you can choose almost every aspect of your wedding. You choose the furniture, centerpieces, lighting, floral arrangements, if you want fireworks, what kind of entertainment, and so much more.
You can also choose which resort you want to have your destination wedding at based on the aesthetic you’re going for. I think this is almost more important than the destination because, if we’re being real, all the destinations will be beachside. The main difference in scenery is going to be the decor and aesthetic.
Playa Hotels and Resorts Weddings
For those of you who want the most relaxed destination wedding ever, where you don’t have to think about a thing, Playa Hotels and Resorts is the place to look. They have so many different packages that there is bound to be something perfect for you without having to do much tweaking.
Playa Hotels and Resorts has 27 different wedding packages for you to choose from. Ten of these packages can be free with your stay, depending on how many nights and how many rooms you book. On top of that, they have three different destinations you can choose from, giving you even more variation.
Their basic wedding package is “Just For The Two of You.” It includes the ceremony, a wedding cake, bouquet and boutonniere, late checkout, romantic room decor, and more. The most inclusive package, “Signature Package,” has all that plus a suite upgrade for the couple, spa discounts, bridal spa services, a three-hour reception, a photographer, and much more.
