Bali is one of the most famous islands situated in Western Indonesia. Bali culture is a beautiful blend of Indian, Hindu, and Chinese influences. A romantic identity attached itself to Bali owing to the writings of Margaret Mead, an anthropologist.

Bali spreads across nearly 5600 sq.km (2160 square miles). It has lush forest, mountainous interiors, and clear lakes that are a perfect backdrop for the beautiful beaches, which surround the Island.

The local cuisine includes lawar (chicken or pork meat and blood with garlic, chopped coconut, chilli). Bebek Betutu, spice stuffed duck wrapped with banana leaves and coconut husks and is cooked in a pit of embers and lots more.

The best time for a Bali honeymoon depends mainly on the season and whether it is high or low travel season. This hugely affects the accommodation prices.

The summer months of July and August as well as the “holiday season” in December until the first week in January are the busiest months for Bali.

The best time to visit Bali in the off-season is between April, May, June and September, right before and just after the high season. It is dry season during this time with reasonable room and villa rental prices. January also makes for a perfect time to visit after the holiday rush in December.
