Staniel Cay Island is nestled within the majestic Bahamian Islands chain called The Exuma Cays (a.k.a. “Exumas”). Staniel Cay is located about 75 miles south of Nassau, and about 250 miles southeast of Florida.

The island itself is within an area of less than 2 square miles. On the west shore lies a small Bahamian village, just a short walk south from Staniel Cay Yacht Club. Though small, (the island has a population of less than 90 full-time residents) the island has much of what anyone would need: a church, a post office, a library, three small retail shops, and a marine supply store.

Since 1956 the Yacht Club has been an integral part of the community of Staniel Cay. There are currently 14 cozy bungalows, an 18-slip marina, a 3,000-foot airstrip, and a clubhouse with a great restaurant and casual island bar. The perfect getaway for anyone seeking a comfortable, casual vacation on a remote and unspoiled island.
