Nudist communities seem to be the next up-and-coming thing, with the concept becoming more widely accepted in different parts of the world. That’s why there have been a growing number of nude beaches and hotels in Mexico. Nudists need a vacation every once in a while too!
Nothing is quite as freeing as saying goodbye to your clothes and living in your natural state. Unfortunately, you can’t just do this everywhere. But, there are quite a few choices in different tourist destinations. Below are the best nude beaches and hotels in Mexico.
Temptation Resort, Cancun

Temptation Resort is the only all-inclusive in Cancun with optional topless areas. The resort is all about making your vacation a party full of sensual experiences and empowerment you won’t find anywhere else. From exhilarating day parties to sexy nightly entertainment, you won’t find yourself bored at Temptation.
Everything is included in your stay at Temptation resort, including all meals, drinks, room service, WIFI, and water sports. If you want an even more luxurious package, stay at the tower for VIP check-in, a special cocktail party, a VIP sundeck, and an exclusive room service menu.
Each room is uniquely designed with modern furnishings and trendy decor. You can get a room with a jacuzzi, butler service, an ocean view, or a garden view. Each room also comes with a bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival, a couples massage, and special discounts for spa services.
Azulik, Tulum

Tulum embodies the free spirit and artsy vibe. It only makes sense that they would have a hotel revolving around incorporating nature into the way we live. What’s more natural than going fully nude in the open? Azulik is one of the few resorts in Tulum that has this option.
The beach outside of Azulik is clothing optional, as well as parts of the hotel. Only some people decide to go nude at Azulik, so you will see some fully clothed. However, don’t let that deter you from immersing yourself in the experience.
What I mean by “the experience” is that Azulik focuses solely on reconnecting its guests with nature. No electricity or WIFI exists, and the rooms are built out of all-natural materials, like bamboo. Although, they came up with some unique ways to give you the whole experience, such as using a ball drop that rolls into a gong to let the staff know you would like room service.
Intima Resort, Tulum

Intimia Resort is a more intimate nude option, being set back in the jungle and having a privacy wall around the entire resort. You can truly let yourself and your clothing go at this resort. Plus, the whole resort is based around a free-form pool built to mimic a cenote, giving you all the Tulum vibes.
Even though you’ll feel you are set in a secluded jungle, Intima Resort is only a 10-minute walk into town. You can also rent a scooter nearby to get to all the beaches and nightlife in the area.
All rooms are either swim-up, have a private hot tub, or plunge pool. They are all condo-style, with a small kitchen, a separate sitting area, and a private terrace. Intima Resort also has a restaurant and bar located underneath a giant thatched roof that gives you an indoor-outdoor feel.
Desire Pearl Resort and Spa, Riviera Maya

Desire Pearl Resort takes it further than adults-only, being a couples-only resort. They revolve everything around stimulating love and romance. First, they greet you with a glass of sparkling wine. Their entertainment and spa services are also made to make sparks fly between you and your partner.
One of their most unique offerings is couples workshops, like the art of touch and dance lessons. They also have x-rated parties for those looking for something a little more exciting. There really isn’t a lot that’s not allowed at Desire Pearl.
The resort itself resembles your typical all-inclusive resort, with three restaurants, swim-up bars, and water sports equipment available. You’ll also have the option of a room with a private jacuzzi, separate seating areas, or different views from your terrace. Each room comes with a fully stocked mini-bar included in your nightly rate.

Hidden Beach is about as close as you can get to a regular adults-only all-inclusive resort, except you can go au naturel. This five-star resort is clothing optional but gives you all the typical amenities you can get anywhere else. Enjoy gourmet dining, exciting shows, and activities on-site.
This is one of the few clothing-optional resorts that let you join for dinner without having to dress, partly because most dining is outdoors. Hidden Beach also has wedding packages for those who want to say I do in your most natural state.
Hidden Beach wants everyone in the nudist community to feel comfortable, so they encourage every guest to follow nudist associations’ etiquette and guidelines. Each room has a separate sitting area, a hot tub on your private terrace, and room service. There are also butlers on the beach to serve you while relaxing.
Casa Nudista Zipolite, Oaxaca

Zipolite is one of the most popular public nudist beaches in Mexico and the first to become legally recognized as such. Therefore, it only makes sense that you’ll find some great nude hotels on its shores. Casa Nudista is not a clothing-optional resort. It is 100% nude, everywhere, all the time.
They won’t kick you out if you put a towel on, but this concept makes it much more comfortable for first-timers. If everyone else is already nude, including staff, you have nothing to be nervous about. Casa Nudista is also extremely LQBTQ+ friendly.
If you choose not to stay at Casa Nudista or simply want to try out the nudist lifestyle, they also sell day passes, and party passes for others to join in. They throw a pool party with a DJ and drink credits every Saturday. Although, I highly recommend staying the night because the accommodations are to die for.
Hotel Nude Zipolite, Oaxaca

Located directly on this famous nude beach is Hotel Nude. I love this area of Mexico because it truly makes you feel like you’re out in the wild hanging out with the iguanas and tropical birds. The dense jungle comes right up to the sandy beach, and nature-infused hotels are tucked within.
Each room makes you feel like you’re sleeping on the beach with a completely open concept, hammocks, and a sundeck that walks directly onto the beach. Don’t worry! The beds have mosquito nets, so you don’t have to worry about pesky bugs at night. The grounds also have swinging lounging beds and Adirondack chairs on the beach.
The rooms are located around a large pool, and there is also a bar and restaurant on-site. Hotel Nude can also set up your dream wedding for you. You can also take advantage of their spa by getting a hot stone or couples massage.
Hotel Punta Serena, Jalisco

This adults-only hotel is located on the cliffs overlooking the beach, giving you spectacular coastal views. The hotel has deemed its beach as a clothing-optional beach. You’ll find some guests clothed, topless, and fully nude. The best time for a fully nude experience is in the morning or early afternoon.
Hotel Punta Serena has a unique cultural experience where you can sit in a temazcal. This is an ancient sweat lodge that the indigenous people of Mesoamerica used to heal and rejuvenate. The hotel also offers horseback riding along the coast.
The accommodations at Hotel Punta Serena are what really stand out. They use traditional building methods and decor to create each room. Each balcony has some of the best views of the Pacific coast. They also have a cliffside infinity pool and hot tub, so there’s really nowhere on this property that doesn’t have an incredible view.
