About Punta Cana

Best Time to Visit Punta Cana
The weather in this Paradise is terrific all year round, averaging a lovely balmy 80 degrees. However, the Dominican Republic, where Punta Cana is located, can get hit with hurricanes from June through November; Punta Cana can be especially vulnerable to storms. Although it gets extremely rainy in October, Punta Cana remains crowded. A few drops cannot dampen paradise.

Hoyo Azul
You can drive to or take a guided tour to Hoyo Azul, a magical blue lagoon with colors that no palette could ever replicate. It is a half-hour drive from Bavaro Beach, or you can stay at a nearby hotel in Cap Cana.
Once you have entered Scape Park Cap Cana, you can head straight to the lagoon. The path is to the lagoon is surrounded by a lush botanical garden, displaying the magnificent beauty of nature at its most glorious. Cross a few bridges, and you will have arrived at the blue lagoon with its crystal waters that are up to 40 feet deep. Weather in Punta Cana
Blue skies and tropical, warm temperatures await you in Punta Cana. The hurricane season lasts from June through November. However, Punta Cana rarely gets a direct hurricane hit. Normally, there may be no more than a day or two of storms and high winds. The rain actually brings relief from the heat.
During July and August, the average temperature will hover around 90 degrees, ten degrees hotter than the other months. November through January cool down to just above 70 degrees, bringing a pleasant freshness to mornings and evenings.
