St. Lucia has some of the most unique landscapes in the Caribbean. From the pointy volcanic peaks to mineral-soaked waterfalls, this island will have you saying “ooh” and “ah” around every corner. Sandals also realized St. Lucia’s beauty and placed three St. Lucia Sandals resorts on the island.

What Are The 3 St. Lucia Sandals Resorts?

Sandals have three different resorts on the island of St. Lucia, and they are as follows:

  • Sandals Grande St. Lucia
  • Sandals Halcyon Beach
  • Sandals Regency La Toc

They are all located in the northwestern part of the island, where you will find Pigeon Island National Park, Mount Fortune, Castries Market, and more. It’s the area you want to be in St. Lucia, with tons of stuff happening year-round and excellent snorkeling and diving.

Sandals Grande St. Lucian

When it comes to a resort that has it all, Sandals Grande St. Lucian is the place to be. This resort is located on its own peninsula and one of the most picturesque beaches in St. Lucia, Rodney Bay. Whether looking for the perfect honeymoon resort or simply having a great spot to escape from the everyday hustle, Sandals Grande is an excellent choice for your St. Lucia trip.

Guest Rooms

The Sandals Grande St. Lucian is the only resort in all of St. Lucia with overwater bungalows. These floating villas have everything you would expect from any overwater bungalow, like butler service, a soaking tub on the terrace, an in-room bar, and much more. If you aren’t looking for a floating bungalow, there is a penthouse, suites, and rooms with an ocean view or oceanfront.

Food and Drinks

If you are someone who likes to try different foods while on vacation, Sandals Grande has you covered. There are 12 different restaurants to choose from with foods from around the world. You can try anything from Jamaican Jerk to fresh seafood. There are also six bars where you can enjoy unlimited premium liquors.

Services and Amenities

As with most Sandals resorts, many services and amenities are included in your stay, such as green fees at their two nearby golf course, scuba diving programs, water sport equipment rentals, and nightly entertainment. Sandals Grande St. Lucian also has the Red Lane Spa, an option to add on candlelight dining, private cabanas, and more.

Features:

  • Location: Gros-Islet
  • Restaurants: 12
  • Bars: 6
  • Types of Accommodations: Overwater bungalows, butler suites, and standard rooms

Sandals Halcyon Beach

Sandals Halcyon Beach is where you go if you need to take a breather from day-to-day life and relax your vacation away. The resort is surrounded by lush gardens, making it feel even more secluded than any other St. Lucia Sandals resort. Plus, most suites here have a swim-up pool or something similar. You’ll either step out of your room into serene greenery or soothing water.

Guest Rooms

Unless you choose a standard room, you will have a tranquility tub on your terrace, a private pool, or a swim-up pool. However, even the standard rooms have a pool within view of your window. The honeymoon suites are some of the most private, with your own private pool and walls surrounding your area with thick gardens covering your terrace.

Food and Drinks

Six restaurants at Sandals Halcyon Beach give you a different option every night of your stay. You can choose between seafood, Italian, Japanese, sushi, or a la carte style meals. There are seven bars on location, so you’ll always have your favorite cocktail within a few steps.

Services and Amenities

The key takeaway for Sandals Halcyon’s amenities is their pools and spa. The Red Lane Spa at this resort is much more relaxing than the others, with peaceful gardens, a plunge pool, and a steam room. They also have one of the longest pools in all of the Caribbean, as well as many more pools on-site and two swim-up bars.

Features:

  • Location: Castries
  • Restaurants: 6
  • Bars: 7
  • Types of Accommodations: Butler villas, butler suites, butler rooms, and standard rooms
  • Adults Only

Sandals Regency La Toc

Sandals Regency La Toc screams luxury with its cliffside accommodations, ensuring you have the best views possible anywhere on the grounds. You’ll feel like you’re staying at your own little Caribbean beach house, with accommodations so spread out that all you’ll see is a tropical jungle and the sea. It is also the only resort in St. Lucia with a gold course on the premises.

Guest Rooms

The rooms at Regency La Toc may have you never wanting to leave. These are the nicest guest rooms of all the St. Lucia Sandals Resorts. You can choose between what they call the millionaire’s villas set on the highest bluffs on the property, honeymoon suites, butler suites, and standard rooms. Almost all of these have a fantastic view and a private pool or tranquility tub.

Food and Drinks

Every dining experience at Sandals Regency La Toc makes you feel like you’re in a five-star restaurant. Even the buffet and a la carte style restaurant is beautiful with domed ceilings and giant columns. You can also choose from many different types of food from all over the world, like an English pub, Mediterranean, Japanese, French, Italian, Caribbean, and pizza.

Services and Amenities

As mentioned above, this is the only resort with a golf course on-site, and it is the most challenging of the 2 Sandals golf courses. The Regency La Toc also has the largest swim-up bar in St. Lucia and the most whirlpools out of all the St. Lucia Sandals Resorts. You can find all the other standard amenities here, such as scuba diving programs, water equipment rentals, private cabanas, and more.

You get breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks at all Sandals resorts. There are usually enough restaurants on the premises to eat a different meal every day, and the food is actually good. You also get unlimited drinks at Sandals resorts, which is rare for an all-inclusive. There are some liquors and unique drinks that you can purchase.

Activities

There are enough included activities at St. Lucia Sandals resorts that you won’t ever have to leave if you don’t want to. One of the most unique things that Sandals include is scuba diving programs, and St. Lucia has some fantastic diving. There are also tons of watersports, land activities, and entertainment that you can take part in. Green fees are also included in your stay.

All 3 St. Lucia Sandals Resorts

Not only can you enjoy all of the amenities and activities at the resort you are staying at, but you can also hop around to the other resorts. That means you actually have 27 restaurants, two golf courses, three spas, and tons of entertainment and activities to choose from. Sandals will provide transportation between the resorts.

Other Things Included

Sandal’s goal is to make sure you have a completely stress-free trip so they also include the following:

  • Tips, taxes, and gratuity
  • Transportation to and from the airport
  • An arrival lounge at the airport
  • A free wedding if you stay three nights or longer
  • Wifi

When to go to St. Lucia Sandals Resorts

April to June are the best times to visit St. Lucia Sandals resorts. The weather won’t be too hot yet, and you haven’t quite hit the rainy season yet, which is from June to November. It is also right at the end of the tourist season, spanning from December to April. That way, you won’t have to worry about too much of a crowd and can have your fair pick of accommodations.

Which St. Lucia Sandals Resort is Right for You?

Overall, the Sandals Grande St. Lucian is the best pick. It is their largest resort in St. Lucia and has everything you need on-site. They are in a great location on their own peninsula in one of the prettiest bays of St. Lucia. I am also a sucker for overwater bungalows, so I would have to go with this one.

If you are looking for more seclusion and want a super luxurious experience, Sandals Regency La Toc is a much better choice. Plus, this resort is closer to some of the most incredible things to see in St. Lucia, like The Pitons. However, the accommodations and amenities will have you so sucked in that you may not want to leave.

Sandals Halcyon Beach is best if you love pools and a tropical garden over the ocean. You will still have a beach and all the water activities your heart desires, but the pools and gardens stand out here. This resort also has the best spa out of all the resorts. This is definitely the resort for those looking for some relaxation and tranquility.
