Montego Bay is the vacation hub of Jamaica, with it being in a wonderful central location to everything you’ll want to see and having a ton of its own attractions. You’re within two hours of Dunns River Falls, Seven Mile Beach, and the Bob Marley Museum. It only makes sense to stay in one of the many Montego Bay all-inclusive resorts.

Best Montego Bay All-Inclusive Resorts

With over twenty all-inclusive resorts in Montego Bay, choosing which is suitable for you can be difficult. Lucky for you, I have made this list of the best Montego Bay all-inclusive resorts, so you don’t have to sift through hundreds of reviews and find which one might suit your style. There’s something for every type of vacationer on this list, from the partiers to the extreme relaxers.

Sandals Royal Caribbean

You don’t have to go far to stay in an over-the-water bungalow in Jamaica. Sandals Royal Caribbean is situated on the outskirts of Montego Bay, less than ten minutes from Sangster International Airport. Along with their standard rooms and suites are over-the-water bungalows that will make you feel like you’re in the Maldives.

You can choose from a basic over-the-water bungalow that is really anything but basic or one with your own infinity pool on the deck. Each bungalow has a butler who can serve you a romantic dinner on your private deck, set up a romantic bath on your outdoor tub, deliver picnics on the beach, and much more.

Sandals resorts also have some of the most robust inclusions in your stay. You can scuba dive with their PADI-certified instructors, hang out on their private island for the day, take out a Hobie cat, watch a fire dance show, and so much more without ever taking out your wallet. They will also take you to their other resort in Montego Bay to enjoy all of their amenities.

Secrets Wild Orchid

Out on its own little peninsula with over a mile of beachfront in Montego Bay is Secrets Wild Orchid. Not only does their all-inclusive come with all the standard amenities, like meals, activities, and entertainment, but it’s also unlimited. Get served your favorite meal, snack, or cocktail poolside, or get it delivered to your room.

This adults-only resort is your ultimate escape for relaxation, with calm bays to float in, swim-up bars, jacuzzi tubs in your room, and swim-up rooms. You don’t even need to leave your room if you don’t want to. With the swim-up suites and 24/7 room service, everything you need on vacation is right there.

All guests of Secrets Wild Orchid can hop over to their neighboring property, Secrets St. James. This gives you access to different activities, more restaurants, and any type of entertainment you want. Preferred Club members can also walk to Breathless Resort and Spa for a more party-like experience.

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall is the definition of modern luxury, with minimalistic design aspects and all the amenities you could need to make your adults-only vacation perfect for you. Sit on a lounger inside the swim-up pool outside your suite, or take a water aerobics pedaling class.

The rooms all have their own private terrace with seats and a table overlooking the ocean or gardens. If you choose a swim-up suite, the pool is private to the few swim-up suites in your area. You never have to worry about getting there early enough to claim a lounger. There are also butler suites where Hyatt will dedicate a butler to your room that can make reservations, expedite room service, and more.

There are so many included activities at Hyatt Zilara that wherever vacation experience you’re going for is possible. Whether you want to rest and rejuvenate, find new passions, or immerse yourself in culture. Take a cooking lesson with one of their chefs, listen to the music of a Caribbean steel drum, or snorkel in the clear turquoise waters.

Iberostar Grand Rose Hall

Nobody can mix island vibes with luxury quite like Iberostar Grand Rose Hall. They have thatch-roofed pavilions, wooden accents, and light, airy colors throughout the property. The rooms are filled with luxurious amenities, like canopy beds, weaved bench swings, and large sitting areas that overlook the ocean.

Iberostar takes all-inclusive to the next level, with butler service on every floor regardless of your room category, gourmet gastronomy restaurants, and unique water sports. They even have their own coral nursery on-site to visit and learn how to help the oceans.

You can also take the time to enjoy a round of golf on their golf course. Transfer to and from the course is included, as well as snacks and drinks served from the beverage cart. To throw another bit of luxury on top of it all, you can have spa services ordered to your room, so you don’t have to walk to the spa.

Jewel Grande Resort and Spa

Feel at home at Jewel Grande Resort and spa with decked-out suites and villas with a kitchen, living area, and separate bedrooms. The suites have also recently been renovated, so they look as nice as they are spacious. You can choose a suite, private villa, or a penthouse for your family, friends, or anyone else you want to bring along.

There are two pools surrounded by palms, covered loungers, and bars to choose from. You can also participate in a few different water sports, like kayaking, paddle boarding, wind sailing, and sailboat rides. There is also a kid’s club where your kids play video games, table tennis, or play on the splash pad.

Jewel Grande is also in an excellent location, with many fun things to do and see nearby. Rose Hall, one of Montego Bay’s most famous haunted attractions, is nearby. There they tell the story of the White Witch. You can also take some exciting adventures from Jewel Grande, like zip-lining, Mystic Moutain, swimming with dolphins, rafting, and more.

Sandals Montego Bay

Sandals Montego Bay was the first Sandals resort to ever come about. They now have over 15 resorts. It would be pretty cool to see where this expansive industry-leading all-inclusive resort started. It’s pretty remarkable that a resort built 40 years ago is still one of the most popular resorts to book in Jamaica.

You can have an over-the-water bungalow experience here without having to pay to stay in an actual over-the-water bungalow. They have an overwater bar with hammocks hanging over the water and over-water cabanas that you can reserve to lay in the shade with quick access to the ocean. There are also hammocks that swing over the top of the water.

There are twelve restaurants and six bars at this Sandals resort, plus you can get a transfer to the nearby Sandals Royal Caribbean to take advantage of their restaurants. I also think the rooms here are some of the nicest out of all the Sandals resorts.

S Hotel

S Hotel is an all-inclusive hotel with a smaller boutique vibe. This hotel gives you a unique experience that you can’t get at larger all-inclusive resorts. It is also located within walking distance of the Hip Strip, where reggae music fills the streets, Jamaican jerk can be found on every corner, and local vendors sell all the best souvenirs.

This all-inclusive hotel also has some unique amenities. You’ll find swinging beds on your terrace, live edge wood furnishings, and Club Mobay VIP airport service, where you get a lounge to hang out in with complimentary drinks. Their spa also takes a different approach, following Jamaican holistic practices that use kinetic energy therapy with subterranean plunge pools.

There are two different pools you can relax in, with lounging beds close enough to dip your tips in from and a rooftop pool that has amazing sunset views. The beach that S Hotel just so happens to be on is Doctors Cave Beach, one of the most famous beaches in Montego bay.

Round Hill Hotel and Villas

If staying in your own private villa sounds like more of your cup of tea, Round Hill Hotel and Villas has some of the most luxurious villas on the island. Each one has a private pool, large terraces with plenty of lounging furniture, and outdoor showers to ensure you soak in all of the Caribbean air you can during your stay.

If you prefer to stay in hotel rooms, you can rest assured that they will feel just as luxurious as their villas. Each room is designed by Ralph Lauren himself. Each room has a four-post bamboo canopy bed and windows that open up to make your entire room seem like a terrace.

The food served here is also to die for, with every meal sourced locally and some made from their own garden. You can even take a tour of the ground’s gardens, where they will serve you lunch that is freshly picked. Round Hill even offers childcare to keep the little ones entertained while you enjoy your vacation.

Breathless Resort and Spa

For those who like to feel like your vacation is a celebration full of exciting experiences, music, and dancing, then Breathless Resort and Spa is where you should stay in Montego Bay. Every day has a party going on. You can join a DJed pool party, hang out at the rooftop pool bar, and more.

Breathless took their accommodations to the next level with I-Pads that control all of your in-room electronics and can be used to order room service. Each room also has its own hot tub on the terrace. Another thing I get super excited about is that they allow small dogs and even equip your room with a dog bed and toys.

They have over 11 restaurants and bars, including two swim-up bars and a beach bar. There shouldn’t be any time when you can’t find a cocktail and food quickly. The staff will even serve you drinks and snacks right to your sun lounger. You literally only need to lift a finger to get a drink.

Half Moon

Half Moon

According to Forbes Magazine, Half Moon in Montego Bay is Jamaica’s highest-rated resort, and it is the ideal getaway for singles, couples, and families. The resort has 210 rooms and suites and 27 family-style villas, with the entire resort being divided into three sections:
